A see-through mirror reflection,
useful until it's not anymore.
Dreams and hopes and wishes are irrelevant,
don't matter to those who matter.
Forgetful thoughts and reflections drown,
a sea of higher importance.
Push down the lowly ones,
smile but don't let it reach your eyes.
Or your heart.
