I was faithless,
Chasing desires and dreams
Selfishly, seeking my own
And yet you, pure lamb,
Walked down the street
Among my dark sins
Towards the stone altar
That my name was
Deeply carved into
And you died for me
While I lay in ashes
Of stubborn disobedience.
And you took my
Hand as I wept
And you, now risen,
And I, now redeemed,
Danced together with joy.
